Mehendi is a story, not just a design. I weave your personal love story into intricate, long-lasting bridal and engagement art, crafted with care right here in Mumbai.

This full-arm bridal mehendi was created for Ankita, featuring her partner's name 'Omkar' on one arm and engagement rings on the other. The design combines traditional elements like swans and peacocks with personal touches.

About Intricate Bridal & Engagement Art

My bridal sessions are a labor of love that takes about 6 to 7 hours, so plan your day accordingly. I don’t use templates or stock designs. Instead, we sit down to map out your love story—whether it’s a portrait, your wedding date, or initials—using only natural, organic henna that’s safe and stains beautifully deep.

Your Story in Henna

I believe that no art is big or small—'kutlihi kala choti kiwa mothi nasate'—it is the emotion behind the design that matters. When you book me for your bridal or engagement mehendi, you aren't just getting a pattern; you are getting a dedicated creative partner for 6 to 7 hours of application. My process focuses on high-definition lines and deep, rich stains. I avoid mass-produced designs, preferring to integrate elements that actually define your relationship—like the specific date you met, your partner's initials, or motifs like lotuses and peacocks which I am particularly fond of.

The Process

  1. Consultation: We discuss your outfit and your story. This is when we decide on the density of the design—whether you want full elbow-length coverage or something more minimal.
  2. Preparation: I use organic, chemical-free henna mixed with natural oils. This is crucial for both the safety of your skin and for achieving that deep, dark stain for the wedding day.
  3. Application: Whether it is a 'Peacock Fever' pattern or an architectural Jharokha motif, I work with a focus on neatness. If you want a specific element, like a portrait or a religious symbol, let me know in advance so I can prepare the layout.

Practical Tips for Brides

  • Timeline: For bridal mehendi, ensure you are in a comfortable spot where you can sit for 6 to 7 hours.
  • Stain Care: To get the darkest stain, avoid water for the first 24 hours. A mix of Vicks or clove smoke works wonders once the henna is dry.
  • Location: I am based in the Thane/Mulund area but travel across Mumbai for weddings. If you have an outstation wedding, we can discuss travel arrangements well in advance.
