The joy on a child's face holding a Ganesha idol we made together is the greatest reward. This is why I do what I do, sharing the happiness of creating something divine from simple, natural clay.
This is a finished 3D relief mural I created to honor the great poet and saint, Kanaka Dasa. Every detail, from his expression of devotion to the Udupi temple in the background, is sculpted by hand to tell his story.
Watch the process of bringing Adiyogi to life on canvas. From the initial chalk sketch to the final strokes of blue that capture his divine energy, this painting is a form of meditation for me.
Here I am with a finished Ganesha sculpture, my first friend in art. This piece, from its peaceful, meditative expression to the little mouse at his feet, is ready to bring blessings to a new home.
Art can also be a performance. Here I am on stage, creating an upside-down speed painting of Lord Sriram, revealing the final portrait only at the end. It is a thrilling way to share devotion with a live audience.
Before I pick up clay or stone, I start with a pencil. This video shows the detailed sketching process for a custom Krishna statue, where I map out every ornament and curve to perfect the design.
A look behind the scenes at the world-famous Mysore Dasara. I was honored to be part of the team creating these magnificent floats, showing how much hard work from many artists goes into making the festival grand.
Finding inspiration everywhere I go. Here I am at the site of a towering Hanuman statue, capturing its power and form in my sketchbook. This is how many of my ideas for new sculptures begin.
