About Celebrating Together: Couple's Portraits
When you step into our Defence Colony studio, the first thing you will notice is that we do not do awkward or stiff posing. We guide you into movements that feel natural, like sharing a quiet joke or simply resting your head on each other’s shoulders, so the camera captures the real connection between you, not just a pose.
Photography for us is not about forcing a smile. Whether we are in our Delhi studio with dramatic lighting or out in a quiet green space, our priority is making sure you feel comfortable.
Why a guided couple’s session matters
Many couples feel camera-shy, and that is completely normal. Our process is designed to handle that. We provide direction on how to stand, where to look, and how to hold each other, so you never have to guess what to do next. If you are worried about what to wear, we have that covered too. We maintain a rack of high-fashion, flowy gowns that we have curated specifically for maternity portraits, so you do not need to stress about sourcing outfits for the shoot.
Our style approach
We blend two distinct aesthetics in our couple’s work:
- Fine-Art & Moody: Using dark, textured backdrops and precise studio lighting to sculpt your silhouettes. These result in dramatic, painterly images that look like classical portraits.
- Bright & Dreamy: Using soft, natural-style lighting to keep the mood fresh, angelic, and timeless.
We also love black and white photography for this specific cluster. It strips away color distractions and places the focus entirely on the intimacy of a touch or the way you look at one another.
Practical details to keep in mind
- Session timing: We recommend booking your maternity shoot between weeks 32 and 36, when the bump is perfectly prominent but you are still comfortable enough to move around.
- Preparation: Our studio sessions include gowns and props, but please note that professional makeup is not included in our standard packages. We recommend coming ready so we can jump straight into the creative work.
- Partners: We encourage you to bring your partner for the full duration. These sessions are about the two of you, and we love capturing the transition into this new chapter of your family life.
