We prioritize patience and safety above all else. Because we work with newborns within their first 7 to 15 days, we build a 3-hour buffer into every session. This gives us ample time for feeding, changing, and soothing, ensuring your baby stays comfortable and relaxed while we capture those tiny, fleeting details.
Our Approach to Newborn Photography
When you visit our studio in Defence Colony, we don't treat the session like a standard photoshoot. We treat it as a quiet, dedicated time for your new family unit.
We specialize in high-key, bright, and airy newborn portraits. By using clean white backgrounds, soft natural-inspired lighting, and minimalist textures, we remove distractions so the focus stays entirely on your baby’s features—their lashes, tiny fingers, and soft skin.
The Role of the Duo
Having both of us on-site is a standard for every newborn session. While one of us manages the camera and artistic composition, the other is focused purely on baby safety and spotting. Whether it's adjusting a wrap or monitoring temperature, this two-person approach allows us to handle the session gently and safely without rushing the process.
What to Expect
- The Window: We recommend booking your session while you are still expecting, aiming for the 7-15 day window after birth when babies are sleepiest and easiest to pose.
- The Setting: Our studio is climate-controlled and fully equipped for newborn comfort, including a private feeding and changing lounge for mothers.
- The Deliverables: We focus on quality over quantity. Every session includes hand-retouched fine-art images and a handcrafted wooden memory box, ensuring you have a physical heirloom to keep rather than just digital files lost on a hard drive.
We encourage parents and siblings to be part of the session. These photos are about the foundation of your family, and we believe the connection between you and your newborn is just as important as the portraits of the baby alone.
