I don't just drop tracks; I curate a seamless blend of Bollywood classics and heavy Techno beats that keeps the festival energy peaking for hours. My focus is on constant crowd engagement, ensuring the transition from Punjabi bangers to Afro House feels natural and keeps everyone hyped from the first beat.
Holi isn't just a day to play with colors—it's a high-stakes performance environment. I’ve handled massive festival crowds, including sets for 13,000+ people in Thane, so I know exactly how to manage the pressure and the chaos of large-scale events.
My Approach to Festival Sets
When I’m behind the decks at a Holi party, the vibe needs to be relentless. I use my signature 'BollyTech' style—mixing the soul of Bollywood and Punjabi hits with the driving basslines of Tech House and EDM. This prevents the energy from dipping. It’s not just about the music; it’s about reading the room. If the energy starts to plateau, I switch to high-tempo Hip-Hop or Afro House to pull the crowd back in.
Technical & Logistic Reality
For festival-scale events, I operate based on a specific technical rider. I typically require a setup with Pioneer CDJs and a dedicated mixer to ensure my custom mashups and live mixing sound crisp. Since I travel across India for shows, I coordinate directly with your on-site AV team during a 60-minute sound check. This helps us sync SFX like CO2 guns and flame effects with the music drops, turning a standard set into a visual experience.
