From distressed denim to oversized silhouettes, I craft looks that bring raw, high-fashion attitude to your off-duty and street-ready moments.

A closer look at the raw, grunge moment we styled with Huma Qureshi. The distressed denim co-ord from Huemn, paired with a silver choker, is all about that edgy, off-duty vibe.

This throwback look on Srishti Shrivastava is still one of my favorites. We paired an oversized denim jacket from Jaywalking with denim shorts and a cut-out bodysuit for the ultimate street style statement.

Airport style with an edge. We styled Akshay Kumar in oversized Balenciaga denims and a Mihara Yasuhiro sweatshirt for a look that is all about comfort and high-fashion grunge.

Pretty in pink, deadly in denim. Huma Qureshi combines a custom tie-dye blazer and bright pink bralette with ripped jeans for a look that's both playful and tough.

Jaideep Ahlawat brings the fun in a ripped denim-on-denim look from KH House of Khaddar for The Great Indian Kapil Show. It's a relaxed, cool, and slightly unhinged vibe.

A denim-on-denim trigger warning! Jaideep Ahlawat styled for 'Jewel Thief' promotions in a light-wash oversized denim shirt and jeans from Gap, proving the Canadian tuxedo is always in style.

A behind-the-scenes video of Dhvani Bhanushali in a cool, casual denim-on-denim look from Zara. It's all about catching the right vibe and having fun with the look.

A detailed shot of the distressed denim jacket from Jaywalking, worn by Srishti Shrivastava. The frayed lettering on the back adds a custom, DIY feel to the grunge aesthetic.

Srishti Shrivastava owning the street style look. The oversized denim jacket, shorts, and Nike sneakers create a perfect balance of fashion and comfort with a whole lot of attitude.

The airport look in motion. This video shows Akshay Kumar's relaxed but stylish stride in his oversized Balenciaga denims and hoodie.

About Grunge & Street Style

Creating that perfect grunge aesthetic is not just about throwing on an oversized jacket. It is about balancing distressed textures so they look intentional rather than accidental. I focus on precise fit and deliberate layering to ensure the off-duty vibe remains polished enough for the camera, whether it is for an airport run or a street-style shoot.

Grunge styling is all about finding the sweet spot between chaos and control. When I work on a street style look, my process starts with understanding the energy you want to project. It is rarely just about one piece of clothing.

The Art of the Grunge Mix

I often blend high-street labels like Huemn and Jaywalking with luxury staples. The key to making a 'Canadian Tuxedo' (denim-on-denim) work is managing the wash and the weight of the denim. If the shirt is heavy, the jeans need a different cut to avoid looking boxy. I focus on styling details—like tucking, rolling sleeves, or adding the right silver accessories—to elevate a simple outfit into a cohesive statement.

My Process for Street Style

  • Sourcing: I pull pieces that feel lived-in and real. We do not just grab off the rack; we look for specific distressing and silhouettes that suit your frame.
  • Fit Management: Even when we are going for 'oversized,' fit matters. I handle the tucking and pinning to ensure the clothing frames your body rather than swallowing it.
  • Collaboration: I coordinate with hair and makeup artists to ensure the glam matches the gritty, raw texture of the clothes. Grunge doesn't mean messy grooming; it means styled, deliberate chaos.

Whether you are aiming for a relaxed airport look or an edgy vibe for your next campaign, we make the process collaborative and fun. I am based in Mumbai but travel to Delhi and Dubai to ensure your wardrobe tells the right story, no matter where you are.
