Featured Mehandi Designs by Sajid Malik
I have handpicked these designs to show the range of my work, from intricate bridal portraits to classic traditional patterns. Every design here is made with natural henna and my own techniques, ensuring you get a rich stain for your special day.
This is a special groom mehandi that tells a story. On one hand, I created a portrait of the couple dancing, and on the other, I designed panels that represent their journey together, making it a truly personal piece of art.
A classic, full-hand mehandi design perfect for a wedding guest. The pattern is symmetrical and packed with detail, featuring traditional floral and paisley motifs that extend up the wrist for a rich, complete look.
Here you can see my application process. I use a fine-tipped cone to create sharp, clean lines, ensuring every detail of the intricate henna design is perfectly executed.
A special design for the festival of Karva Chauth. This single-hand mehandi features a traditional scene of a woman with the 'chalni' (sieve), combining figurative art with elegant patterns on the fingers.
Nothing makes me happier than a smiling client. This video shows a client happily flaunting her intricate mehandi design after the henna paste has been applied.
This Indo-Arabic mehandi style uses negative space to make the floral and vine patterns stand out. It's an elegant choice for someone who wants a design that is both detailed and modern.
I love creating unique motifs in my mehandi. This design features beautiful 'jhumka' (traditional earring) patterns, making it a creative and stylish choice for any party or function.
About Featured
I pay close attention to the henna mix I use, blending natural ingredients with eucalyptus oil to ensure you get a deep, dark stain that lasts well through your celebrations. When I work on fine-line detailing, I use a specific 0.3mm to 0.5mm tip cone that keeps the edges sharp, so your henna doesn't bleed even when you're moving around during the festivities.
Whether you are looking for a classic full-hand 'Bharwa' design for a wedding or a quick, elegant pattern for a festival, the process starts with a clear conversation. I do not believe in copying pictures from the internet. When you see a portrait or a complex doli scene in my portfolio, that is exactly the level of intricacy you will get.
For weddings, I often combine traditional motifs—like peacocks, lotuses, and checkered jaal—with modern elements like couple portraits or story-based panels. If you have a specific idea or want to incorporate your love story, we can plan it together.
Practical details for your booking
- Festivals: For occasions like Karva Chauth or Teej, I focus on styles that include traditional symbols like the 'chalni' or specific religious motifs, paired with elegant finger detailing.
- My Guarantee: I follow a 'What You See Is What You Get' approach. I am happy to show you my practice videos or do a quick stain test on your hand so you can see the finishing and the actual color result before the main event.
- Travel: While I am based in Shahdara, Delhi, I travel across India for weddings and events. Just tell me where, and I will be there with my cones and my art.
