About Youth Age-Group Teams (U-10 to U-19)
At RSCA, we segment training by age—U-10, U-12, U-16, and U-19—to ensure that every session targets the specific developmental needs of the player. Whether it is a beginner learning their first grip or a senior student preparing for state-level selections, our curriculum focuses on integrating technical drills with fitness and mental conditioning to build a complete cricketer.
Our Training Methodology
Cricket development requires a structured approach that evolves with the player. Our age-group programs are not generic camps; they are intensive training cycles designed to bridge the gap between amateur play and professional-level performance.
- U-10 & U-12 (Foundation): Focus is on basic motor skills, proper grip, stance, and hand-eye coordination. We emphasize enjoying the game while instilling the discipline required for future competition.
- U-16 & U-19 (Competitive): These groups transition into tactical gameplay, advanced bowling machine sessions, and endurance conditioning. We incorporate yoga and agility training to ensure players are physically prepared for the demands of long matches.
Facilities & Match Experience
We train at our New BEL Road facility, which features all-weather indoor nets and outdoor grounds, ensuring practice is consistent throughout the year. We believe that net practice alone is insufficient, so we integrate competitive play. Our students participate in the RSCA League, domestic tours, and international exposure trips, such as our recent U-16 tournament in Sri Lanka. These real-world experiences help players develop match temperament and strategic thinking under pressure.
Why Train With Us
We maintain a high coach-to-student ratio during group sessions to ensure feedback is immediate and actionable. Our coaches emphasize the process over short-term results, tracking progress through fitness assessments and skill development milestones. Whether you are a student balancing school with sport or aiming for a professional career, our year-round training schedule at RSCA provides the consistency required to excel.
