My Featured Work: Cinematic Product Photography & Reels
A collection of my latest work where I blend clean product photography with moody, cinematic reels. From beauty brands to creative studio tests, here is how I help products tell their story.
I love making these short, cinematic reels. For this Clay Co. Beauty video, the goal was to create a satisfying, scroll-stopping moment that highlights the product's unique texture. I used my DJI RS3 gimbal to get those buttery smooth movements that make the visuals pop.
This is an overhead shot I did for Clay Co. Beauty. I find that creating a dynamic composition with the product and its packaging like this really works for social media feeds and website banners. It's eye-catching and tells a story about the product line.
Here’s a little peek behind the curtain at the Clay Co. shoot. I believe showing the process is just as important as the final product. This video gives you a glimpse into my setup for capturing both clean product shots and detailed texture videos.
A clean and minimalist flat lay for Clay Co. This top-down grid style is perfect for e-commerce websites and catalogs, as it clearly showcases the entire product line against a simple, neutral background.
Just me geeking out about light in my new apartment, lol. This was a quick test to see how I could use natural sunlight, a key light, and a hair light to create a moody, cinematic look. It's this kind of experimentation that I bring to every project.
About Featured
I don't just hit the shutter button. For these beauty shoots, I focus on texture—like that satisfying serum drip—and use my custom lighting setups to pull out deep, rich colors. It is all about creating that film look that makes your product stop the scroll and feel premium, rather than just another standard catalog image.
How I Build the 'Film Look'
Everything you see here is shot with a specific intent. Whether I am using my Sony A7s3 for a slow-motion video or setting up a clean flat lay for e-commerce, the goal remains the same: mood and texture.
Product Stills vs. Cinematic Reels
- Clean Stills: For brands like Clay Co, I focus on lighting that accentuates the bottle shape and packaging details. I use professional strobes and artful composition to make sure the product pops against the background.
- Cinematic Reels: This is where the movement happens. I use my DJI RS3 gimbal to get those smooth, buttery shots that highlight product texture. I edit these with custom color grading to give them that moody, deep aesthetic I love.
My Creative Process
I treat every project like a piece of art. I am usually obsessing over lighting ratios in my own apartment when I am not on a set, testing how natural sunlight interacts with shadows. This same curiosity goes into your project. If you have a brand or a product that needs a fresh, aesthetic perspective, let’s talk. I shoot across Mumbai and am always down to travel if the project feels right. ✌️🖤
