Aesthetic Skincare and Beauty Product Photography in Mumbai
I help beauty and skincare brands create clean, scroll-stopping visuals. Whether you need minimalist flat lays for your website or aesthetic product shots for social media, I make your products look real and premium.
This is an overhead shot I did for Clay Co. Beauty. I find that creating a dynamic composition with the product and its packaging like this really works for social media feeds and website banners. It's eye-catching and tells a story about the product line.
A classic product and packaging shot for Clay Co. The goal here was to match the brand's soft, aesthetic vibe with a monochrome pink background and gentle lighting. This style is great for showcasing a single hero product.

About Skincare & Beauty Photography
Getting the right aesthetic for skincare products is 90 percent about light and 10 percent about patience. For these shots, I use professional strobe lighting to get that crisp, clean look without losing the texture of the packaging. If you are deciding between flat lays and hero shots, think about where the image lives. Website banners need space for text, while Instagram demands something punchy and immediate.
Crafting the Skincare Aesthetic
You have probably noticed that skincare photography is all about clean lines. It is not just about taking a photo; it is about controlling reflections on glass bottles and ensuring the packaging texture looks premium, not plastic. When I shoot for brands, I focus on a few key elements:
- Texture and Light: I use Godox strobes to mimic soft window light, which keeps the skin-safe, premium vibe.
- The Flat Lay: These are my go-to for e-commerce. It is a puzzle of arranging products so they look organized but organic, often using acrylic blocks or fabrics to create depth without clutter.
- Hero Shots: Sometimes, you just need one bottle to stand out. That is where my Sony A7s3 and Sigma Art lenses come in. We strip away the noise and focus on color grading that highlights the brand's unique palette.
Why I Love This Style
It is technical, but it is rewarding. I am picky about post-production. Cleaning up dust particles and minor surface scratches is a standard part of my process. I do not believe in over-editing; I believe in making the product look exactly like it does on your shelf, just with better lighting. Whether we are shooting in my home studio or your office space here in Mumbai, the goal is simple: visuals that make a user stop scrolling and actually look.
If you have a new product launch, let us chat about the mood board. I am always down to experiment with different backdrops or even some props you might have lying around to get the vibe just right.
