About The RKade Premier League: Where Skills are Tested
It isn't just about winning a trophy. In the RPL, kids learn how to handle the nerves of a live toss, follow field placements, and respect the umpire’s decision. We create these high-pressure scenarios on weekends so when they represent their district or state later, they aren't surprised by the intensity.
Bridging the Gap Between Nets and Pitches
Most academies focus heavily on net practice, but cricket is won in the middle. We started the RKade Premier League (RPL) to bridge that gap. A child might have perfect technique in the nets, but performing when a crowd is watching, fielders are shifting, and an umpire is calling decisions is a completely different challenge.
How the League Works
We organize the league across our centers in Gurgaon and Dwarka, treating it like a professional setup.
- Structured Competition: We divide players into teams—like our RPL 9 season which featured 12 teams and 160 players—ensuring every child gets game time.
- Age-Specific Categories: From U-10 to U-13, we tailor the competitive environment to the child's development stage.
- Learning by Doing: Coaches aren't just sitting on the sidelines. They use match breaks to provide tactical feedback, helping players understand why a particular shot selection or fielding position mattered in that specific moment.
