About Sitar Fusion: Lo-Fi, Trap & Bollywood
When I produce a lo-fi or trap track, I do not just layer a sitar over a beat. I start by choosing a Raga like Kirwani or Yaman to set the specific emotional frequency, then I record raw stems, including the Foundation, Flavor, and Solo, using my family’s traditional sitars or my electric Zitar. You are not getting a generic sample; you are getting high-fidelity, processed audio that blends ancient roots with heavy 808s.
My Process: Tradition Meets Modernity
Music is energy. Whether it is a 'Kal Ho Na Ho' lo-fi cover or a high-energy Sitar Trap banger, my goal is the same: keeping the soul alive. I don't just record; I build soundscapes.
Technical Precision
I work with industry-standard Neumann U87s and AKG C414s to capture every nuance of the instrument. You get 48kHz/24-bit high-res WAV files, both dry and wet stems, so your mix engineer has total control. If we are doing trap, I layer the sitar with hard-hitting percussion and deep 808s. For lo-fi, I focus on the ambient space and those crisp, acoustic textures that make a track feel intimate.
The Bollywood Connection
Nostalgia is a powerful tool. When I reimagine a classic Bollywood track, I treat it with respect. I analyze the original melody, find the Raga that sits underneath it, and then build the new arrangement around that core feeling. It is about taking those memories and giving them a fresh, modern heartbeat. Whether you need a solo piece for an ad or a full instrumental remix for streaming, let us make something that hits different.
