Our Studio: A Story of Revival

This is my own home and studio, a personal project of adaptive reuse. I transformed an 80-year-old abandoned building into a living, breathing space that showcases my core philosophy of honoring a structure's history while giving it a new purpose. You will see how original features like brick walls, wooden beams, and patterned tiles were preserved and integrated with modern comforts.

The Restoration Process

I believe in letting a building's story shine, not erasing it. This collection shows the journey of transformation, from the initial state of neglect to the careful process of restoration. You will see raw walls, uncovered architectural details, and glimpses of old structures in Goa that provide inspiration for my work.

A Dhaka Residence: Weaving Heritage into Modernity

This 10,000 sq. ft. home was designed for a well-travelled couple who wanted to blend their global perspective with their love for Indian and local heritage. The project involved sourcing materials internationally and collaborating with local artisans. The result is a layered, contemporary home with a rich, cultural soul, featuring open-plan living areas, cozy nooks, and a seamless connection to the outdoors.

A Calcutta Home: For Family and Memories

This project was about translating the feeling of a sprawling, old-world Calcutta bungalow into a modern apartment for a close-knit joint family. The design focuses on creating warm, inviting spaces that encourage togetherness. We used a palette of earthy tones, worn-in woods, and nostalgic details, including custom-designed bathrooms tailored to each family member.

Homes for Storytellers: Celebrity Residences

I have had the privilege of designing homes for artists and storytellers who wanted their spaces to be a true reflection of their personality. These projects, for clients like Kangana Ranaut, Dia Mirza, Alia Bhatt, and Aditi Rao Hydari, were about creating personal sanctuaries, not showpieces. Each home blends heritage influences, from Himachali to Art Deco, with contemporary comfort.

International Homes: Global Sensibilities, Local Soul

My work often takes me across the globe, where I help clients infuse their homes with the warmth of their Indian heritage. This project in Saratoga, California, is a 4,000-square-foot residence where we blended traditional American architecture with vibrant Indian art, textiles, and colors. The design proves that a home's soul has no borders.

Commercial Spaces with Soul

My approach to design extends to commercial projects, where I create atmospheric and memorable experiences for restaurants and other businesses. This collection features "The Lovefools," a restaurant with a dreamy, vintage vibe, and another heritage space where we restored original details. The focus is always on creating a strong sense of place and character.

In The Press

My work and design philosophy have been generously featured in publications like Architectural Digest (AD100), Design Essentia, and more. This recognition is an honor and a testament to the collaborative effort of my team and visionary clients. These features offer deeper insight into the stories behind my most significant projects.

In Conversation

For me, design is a conversation. Here, I share my thoughts on my journey, my design philosophy, and practical advice for homeowners through podcasts, video interviews, and portraits. These conversations are a chance to connect on a more personal level and share the "why" behind my work.
