My Styling Philosophy

I believe it's not about what you wear, but how you wear it. If you've ever stood in front of your closet thinking "kuch pehnne ko nahi hai" (I have nothing to wear), I get it. My approach is about finding that everyday comfort and sadgi (simplicity) so you feel confident in your own skin - not by hiding anything, but by learning to balance your look.

Maternity & Postpartum Styling

Bodies change, and so should your wardrobe. If you're pregnant, postpartum, or just want to dress better for your shape, I help you work with what you've got.

  • For maternity, I look for soft jersey, cotton, and stretchy stuff - nothing too thick or tight. The third layer trick (like a loose shirt or blazer) adds shape without overheating.
  • Accessories matter. A plain dress plus a nice bag or cap can change the whole vibe.
  • Wrap styles and heavy tailoring? Mostly not worth the struggle during pregnancy.
  • After baby, I suggest high-waisted bottoms, A-line dresses, and tops that draw eyes up, not shapewear. Avoid clingy fabrics and boxy tops - they rarely do favours for a mommy belly.

Styling for Your Body Shape

Every body is different. I give tailored advice for common shapes:

  • Heavy bust? V-necks and Angrakha work, avoid crew necks.
  • Pear shape? Highlight your top half, skip pencil skirts.
  • Petite? Well-fitted blazers, midi lengths.
  • Broad shoulders? V-necks and one-shoulder tops beat noodle straps.

My Story

Hi, I’m Ria. For more than 10 years, I’ve helped women sort out their wardrobes and kick that 'I have nothing to wear' drama. Styling isn’t magic, it’s just learning what works for you. Now, with a baby on the way, I’m really living the maternity styling tips I give! From bloated days to full bump, I’m figuring it out too. Trust me, you can feel good in your skin and clothes, no matter what stage you’re at.

My Work

What I do - Personal Styling, Virtual Styling, Wardrobe Consulting, and 'Style Yourself' Programme. Everyday looks, workwear, Indian wear, maternity, vacation outfits.

How I style - Forget old rules. I use body mapping for style - height, torso, proportions. It’s about clarity and confidence.

Who I help - Stuck in a rut? Closet full but nothing to wear? Pregnant or just changing? I do tummy-friendly dressing, heavy bust/hips, petite frames.
