Stunning Bridal Portraits and Candid Wedding Details
Your wedding day goes by in a blur, but your portraits shouldn't. I focus on the little details—the way your jewelry catches the light, that nervous smile before you walk out, and the quiet moments when it’s just you. Let’s make sure those memories stay.
A timeless black and white bridal portrait. This image focuses on the bride's expression as she looks down at her kalire. Converting the photo to monochrome removes distractions, emphasizing the rich textures of her velvet lehenga and the intricate details of her jewelry.
A classic bridal shot, capturing the bride's joyful smile as she peeks out from under her red veil. The lighting highlights her features and the sparkle of her diamond necklace, creating a portrait that is both traditional and full of life.
This outdoor bridal portrait captures a quiet, candid moment. The bride is adjusting her earring, a simple gesture that feels natural and elegant. The soft, natural light beautifully illuminates her red embroidered suit and the intricate henna on her hands.
The pure joy of a bride on her wedding day. This candid photo captures a moment of genuine laughter, showcasing her beautiful smile. The warm lighting enhances the rich maroon color of her velvet lehenga and the sparkle of her elaborate pink and white jewelry set.
A reflective and emotional bridal portrait. Using a mirror, I captured the bride looking at her own reflection, creating a powerful image of self-love and contemplation before the ceremony begins. The dark, moody lighting adds to the intimacy of the moment.
A close-up bridal portrait focusing on the bride's expressive eyes as she looks out from under her veil. This shot highlights the details of her makeup, the large nose ring (nath), and the ornate maang tikka, creating a captivating and traditional look.
This portrait captures the bride in her beautiful maroon velvet lehenga, holding her kalire. The soft red lighting gives the image a warm, celebratory glow, highlighting her happy expression and the intricate details of her bridal attire.
A moment of quiet anticipation. This photo shows the bride from behind, looking out a window. The natural light from outside silhouettes her form, highlighting the sheer red dupatta and the traditional chooda bangles on her arms.
About The Bridal Look
I don't just point a camera and ask you to smile. Whether we’re using a mirror for a moody, low-light portrait or finding the softest natural light for those jewelry close-ups, I want these photos to feel like you. You won’t feel like you are performing, just reliving the best moments of your day while I catch the ones you might miss.
The bridal portrait session is often the only time you get to breathe on your wedding day, so I try to keep it as relaxed as possible. Most brides tell me they are nervous about 'looking stiff' in front of the lens, which is why I prefer guiding you into a space where you can just be yourself.
Why Lighting Matters
I work with both light and shadow to bring out the textures in your lehenga and the sparkle of your jewelry. If we are shooting indoors, I use subtle LED panels to mimic natural light, ensuring your makeup looks flawless without that harsh, washed-out flash look. For outdoor shots, I love hunting for that golden hour glow that softens everything and adds a cinematic quality to your portraits.
A Few Tips for Your Session
- Give yourself time: Try to block out at least 20 minutes before the chaos of the baraat or the ceremony. This is when I can get those clean, uncluttered shots of you in your full attire.
- The Details: I always dedicate time to the 'getting ready' phase. Capturing your shoes, the kalire, and the embroidery on your dupatta builds the full story of your look.
- Be Real: If you feel like laughing or crying, do it. I am there to document the emotion, not to pose you into a statue. Whether you are in a grand Delhi banquet hall or having a private ceremony at home, the goal is the same: photos that bring you right back to how you felt in that exact second.
