Why I Teach
I started out just loving makeup, but after working as a makeup artist for 4 years, I realised there’s so much more behind every look. Now, I want to help others turn their passion into a real job. My classes are for anyone who’s serious about learning, not just watching from the sidelines.
What You’ll Actually Learn
- Bridal makeup with a focus on South Indian styles - saree, jewelry, the whole vibe.
- How to nail that ‘no-makeup’ makeup look and glam looks for parties or photoshoots.
- Eye makeup, from simple to bold.
- Hairstyling, including braids that Amma would be proud of, and modern updos.
- Using flowers and other accessories to make any hairdo stand out.
How We Work
It’s all hands-on from day one. We practice on mannequin heads for hair and live models for makeup, so you actually build skills. I don’t believe in just theory - you’ll mess up sometimes (I did too!) but that’s how you learn.
What You’ll Take Home
By the end, you’ll have a full portfolio with professional photos of your work. That way, you’re set to show clients what you can actually do. Batches are small, so everyone gets my full attention.

Hey, I’m Rashmi. Been playing with brushes and colors for 4+ years, trained under Deepika Makeup and Hair. Makeup’s my jam – makes you feel powerful, but I’m all about keeping it simple, unless you wanna go glam! I started my own academy too, teaching folks how to slay in this field. Seeing my students grow? Best feeling ever. Beauty is power, but simple is beautiful. Do your thing, be your best!
