About My Guru's Legacy
You aren't just joining a standard dance class here; you are stepping into the methodology developed by the late Arun Kumar, the Salsa King of Bangalore. In every session, we focus on the real fundamentals—posture, frame, and connection—that made his studios a city institution. It is not about flashy moves that look good on camera for a second, but about building the core technique that lets you actually enjoy the dance floor.
Building on the Foundation
When I say I am keeping a legacy alive, I mean it. My classes are structured around the techniques Arun sir taught me. Whether we are working on Salsa, Jive, or Bachata, the goal is always social dance survival. Can you step onto a dance floor at a party or a wedding, hear the music, and feel confident moving with a partner? That is the skill we are building.
What to Expect in Class
We keep things real and accessible. Every session starts with a 15-minute high-intensity cardio warm-up—the Studio 5678 way—to get your energy up. Then, we dive into the core instruction for the day.
- Technique: We focus on lead-and-follow mechanics, posture, and alignment.
- Environment: No judgment, no stiff atmosphere. It is just you, the music, and a room full of people learning to move.
- Variety: From quick weekend workshops to monthly progressive batches, there is a space here for you, whether you have two left feet or just want to try something new.
Classes are running weekly at our partner studios in Indiranagar and Hebbal. We keep groups focused so I can give you personal feedback on your posture, ensuring you build the right habits from day one. If you are ready to stop overthinking and start moving, show up. I will be there to dance with you.
