Tired of dating apps that feel like job interviews? Let’s swap the swipes for storytelling. Join me for book swaps, literary mixers, and real conversations with people who actually read.

A look inside our 'Books, Bookmarks and Banter' event. Every person is a book waiting to be read. We go beyond the cover to discover the stories within each other.

Glimpses from our 'Blind Date with a Book' event in Mumbai. We create a space for smaller groups and meaningful conversations, where attendees bond over books and leave with new friends.

We use conversation starter cards at our book club events to spark interesting, book-based discussions. It's a great way to get to know someone's mind and personality.

This tote bag says it all. My events are for people who are curious and want to connect on a deeper level, moving beyond the usual small talk.

Books ready for our book swap social. Everyone brings a wrapped book, and the mystery of what you'll go home with adds a fun element to the event.

An invitation to our 'Blind Date with a Book' event. It includes a conversation menu, a book swap, and delicious food, all designed for a soulful Sunday.

About this collection

Instead of awkward small talk, I use conversation prompts and 'blind date with a book' exchanges to break the ice. You’ll walk into a cozy bookstore cafe, grab a coffee, and instantly have a shared topic—the book in your hands—to start a real connection without the pressure of a traditional date.

For many, the standard dating experience is draining. It’s too focused on stats and not enough on substance. That is why I started these literary mixers. Whether you are in Mumbai at Fictionary in Bandra, or exploring a new venue in Bengaluru, the goal remains the same: create a space where you do not have to 'perform'.

We start with a 'Blind Date with a Book'. You bring a wrapped book, we swap them, and suddenly you have a conversation starter that says something about your taste. Then, we use specific conversation menus—not just 'what do you do for work?'—to get into topics that actually matter. It is an introvert-friendly way to meet fellow singles who value intellect and a good story.

My events are strictly for high-intent individuals. I keep the group sizes small—usually around 20 people—so you can actually talk to everyone in the room. No shouting over loud music, no forced networking. Just coffee, books, and the chance to meet someone who gets your reference to a book you love. It is about finding your tribe, one page at a time.

I’m Radhika, and I believe the best connections start with a story, not a swipe. I design these spaces because I’m tired of the dating game and want to help you find people who are just as curious and thoughtful as you are.
