Building Your Community and Finding Your Tribe

Dating shouldn't feel like a solitary pursuit. I create intentional, safe spaces—from journaling clubs to casual mixers—where you can stop swiping and start connecting with people who actually get your vibe.

A group of amazing women from our 'Sisters in Stories' April edition. This community is a safe space for single women to connect, share, and support each other.

An introduction to the hosts of our 'Sisters in Stories' chapters. These are the women who help create and hold these safe spaces in different cities.

Another snapshot from a 'Sisters in Stories' meetup. These free, monthly journaling sessions are all about fostering mindful living and genuine female friendships.

Sundays couldn't get better. A happy moment from a 'Sisters in Stories' gathering, where new friendships are forged over shared stories and experiences.

I was thrilled to co-host a Dating Salon with entrepreneur Nick Gray in Bengaluru. These events bring together curious minds to discuss modern dating and relationships.

About this collection

These aren't networking events where you're forced to make small talk. Whether it's our 'Sisters in Stories' journaling session or a weekend meetup in HSR, the goal is simple: create a space where the pressure to 'perform' doesn't exist. You show up, you share, and usually, you walk away having met people who actually get you—not just another match on a screen.

Dating is honestly just one part of life. If you focus only on finding a partner, you often miss out on the friendships and community that actually make the journey sustainable.

My approach to building community is about creating 'third spaces'—places that aren't work and aren't home, but somewhere in between where you can just exist.

Why Community Matters

When I look back at my own time in HSR, my 'found family'—my landlords and neighbors—became my support system. They taught me that belonging isn't something you find on an app; it's something you build through shared experiences.

What You Can Expect

  • Sisters in Stories: A safe space for single women to share experiences, journal, and just be. No judgment, no advice unless asked, just a space to be heard.
  • Interest-Led Mixers: We use hobbies—like journaling, books, or food walks—as the 'glue.' When you have a common activity, the conversation happens naturally, without the weird 'what do you do for work' interrogation.
  • Safe, Inclusive Vibe: These events are curated. Whether you're sober curious, child-free, or just looking for a feminist-friendly circle, I work hard to ensure the people in the room align with the values that matter to you.

This isn't about 'fixing' your dating life. It's about building a life you're already happy with, where meeting someone is just a pleasant byproduct of showing up.

I'm Radhika, and I believe dating is a byproduct of living well, not the goal. When you aren't focused on the 'next date,' you actually start connecting with people. That's why I build these spaces—to help you find friends, support, and maybe, eventually, someone special.
