About Open-Air & Poolside Raves
When I set up for a pool rave or rooftop session, I bring my Pioneer DJ controller, but I rely on you to provide the speaker system and lighting setup. Because open-air acoustics differ from enclosed clubs, I keep my Progressive and Melodic House selections smooth while the sun is out, saving the heavier, faster Techno rhythms for after dark when the energy shifts.
I view every open-air space as a different kind of portal. Unlike a club, an outdoor venue or poolside party lets us play with the transition of light and atmosphere.
My Approach to Daytime Sets
Sunlight demands a different frequency. My afternoon sets focus on deep, progressive house and organic rhythms that keep things fluid. It is about creating a space where people can drift, dance, or just sit by the pool and soak in the energy. I avoid rushing the tempo here, letting the music breathe with the surroundings.
Transitioning to Night
As the sun sets, I shift the sound. This is where I bring in the Indo-Techno and peak-hour tracks. The lighting becomes as important as the mixing, and I start to build that hypnotic energy I am known for in Bangalore’s nightlife scene. Whether it is a private villa in the city outskirts or a rooftop terrace in the center, I adapt to the room.
Technical Reality Check
- Equipment: I arrive with my DJ controller and laptop. For sound quality, I need you to have a decent PA system or speaker setup ready to plug into.
- Vibe: I do not play Bollywood or commercial requests. My sets are for those who want an electronic journey—techno, house, and psytrance.
- Logistics: I include local travel within Bangalore. If you are planning an event outside the city, just let me know so we can sort out the travel.
