We are a team of doctors and therapists who built the support we wished we had. Meet the experts dedicated to helping you move past the pain, on your own terms.

This timeline shows the beginning of my journey. After getting married in 2008, I ignored the problem of vaginismus, which took an emotional toll on my relationship and led to a forceful, shaming experience with another doctor.

In 2015, I quit my work, determined to heal. After researching online, I successfully healed my own vaginismus in just 3.5 weeks. This personal success led to starting a support group and eventually creating this program with Proactive For Her.

Fast forward to 2024, our program was awarded the 'Best Digital Healthcare Project'. Today, we have helped over 700 women heal across 45 batches, a testament to the power of this holistic approach.

If sex hurts or a gynac exam feels like panic, you might feel like you're the only one. We want you to know that your pain is real. We've helped over 700 women find healing with care that works, no judgment.

Vaginismus is not just about physical pain; it's an emotional journey filled with feelings of inadequacy and self-consciousness. Our therapists work with you to understand the fears around intimacy and address the emotional distress.

We practice a trauma-informed approach to therapy. This means we create a safe environment for you to heal at your own pace, understanding that trauma can manifest in different ways. We help you find and resolve the root cause of your fear.

Painful sex is one of the top issues women face. Dr. Taru Jindal, a gynecologist who healed her own vaginismus, created this holistic program with trauma-informed experts to help the 400+ women who have found healing with us.

At least 15% of Indian women may experience vaginismus, feeling like a "touch-me-not" plant. This video highlights our trauma-informed healing program, designed by a survivor for survivors, which has helped over 450 women.

In this interview with Civil Society magazine, I explain what vaginismus is: a protective, involuntary muscle contraction. I also share why it's so important to seek help, because with over 500 women healed, there is no reason you can't heal too.

I'm Dr. Anuja, a pelvic health physiotherapist. I specialize in the unique needs of the female body, understanding how hormones affect pain, injury, and recovery for a wide range of conditions we treat.

About Meet Our Experts & Our Story

When you reach out to us, you don't start with a scary physical exam. We begin with a 30-45 minute video screening to simply talk, rule out physical anomalies, and map your history, because we know the hardest part is often just taking that first step. We designed our process so you can participate entirely from the privacy of your home, and we never rely on surgery or invasive quick fixes. Instead, we use guided pelvic floor relaxation and psychosexual therapy that works with your body, not against it.
