Makeup that tells a story. From high-fashion editorial concepts to experimental avant-garde designs, I build looks that own the frame.

A symphony of texture and light. For this "Seraphine" editorial, I designed intricate, jeweled nails and a wet-look, sculpted hairstyle to create a high-fashion, avant-garde narrative.

The focus here is on the interplay between the sharp, graphic lines in the hair and the delicate, shimmering texture on the hand. It's a look that balances elegance with a distinct edge.

A moment of couture chaos. This look was about breaking free, with a dress made of real flowers and a raw, expressive makeup application that feels both wild and intensely emotional.

Here, the floral couture and dewy skin create a striking contrast against the stark, geometric background. The pose and the look work together to tell a story of being confined yet powerful.

This cover for Darkly Art Magazine represents the pinnacle of dark glamour. The makeup is minimal yet striking, designed to complement the metallic sheen of the dress and the model's powerful presence.

An inside look at the "Ascension" editorial. The makeup and hair are sculpted to create a statuesque, almost divine quality, transforming fashion into a piece of art.

This full-page spread from the "Ascension" series in Darkly Art Magazine shows the complete look, where the flowing fabric, elegant updo, and subtle makeup create a feeling of rising.

Another powerful shot from the "Ascension" series, where the pose and the lighting highlight the sleek hair and the defined, elegant makeup, creating a sense of divinity and movement.

The beauty of this shot is in the contrast of light and shadow, with the sleek hair and makeup providing a focal point against the flowing white fabric.

A close-up on the details. The sharp, graphic winged eyeliner is the centerpiece, complemented by a thick, structured braid and a patterned headscarf for a fusion of tradition and high fashion.

About Editorial & Avant-Garde Artistry

Avant-garde looks are rarely just about the application. They are about engineering. When I work with 3D elements like pearls, gold leaf, wires, or floral pieces, I ensure the adhesives are skin-safe yet strong enough to survive hours of studio lights, heat, and movement. You are not just wearing makeup; you are wearing an art piece designed to stay sharp from the first frame to the last.

My approach to editorial work is rooted in collaboration and narrative. I do not see a face as a flat canvas. I see it as the focal point of a story. Whether it is a dark, moody spread for a magazine like Darkly Art or a bright, high-energy commercial campaign, I obsess over the interplay between texture and light.

The Technical Side of Art

Editorial makeup requires a different set of rules. I balance the drama with durability. When we choose to go for glass skin, a wet-look finish, or graphic neon liners, I select products that perform under high-intensity studio lighting. I also provide continuous monitor checks. My role on set does not end after the first application. I stay on the floor to monitor for shine, hair displacement, or smudges, ensuring the vision remains pristine throughout the transition between outfit changes and varying lighting conditions.

Building the Concept

I often work with stylists and photographers to integrate props into the hair and makeup design. This could be weaving wires into a sculpted braid or applying textures that mimic the environment of the shoot, such as the frosted skin effects I designed for winter-themed editorials. We plan the mood, analyze the lighting, and sketch out the look before a single brush touches your skin. If your project demands something that pushes boundaries or defies the standard aesthetic, that is where I thrive.

I see faces as canvases for stories, not just surfaces for cosmetics. Whether it is an architectural hair design or a sharp, graphic liner concept, I am here to help you bring the weird, the wild, and the wonderful to life.
