Night photography requires more than just a camera. It depends on controlled artificial lighting, smoke effects, and specific props to get that cinematic look. Because public street lighting in Delhi is often inconsistent, I strongly recommend choosing a paid studio location where we have full control over the light and backdrops for the best results.
How We Manage Night Shoots
Unlike daylight sessions that rely on the sun, night shoots are entirely dependent on our lighting setup. We bring portable LED kits, smoke machines, and string lights to create depth and drama. When you book a cinematic night package with us, you are paying for the equipment and the technical expertise required to operate it.
Choosing Your Location
- Public Spots: While some monuments or areas with specific lighting can work, public spaces often restrict the use of stands or tripods. This limits our ability to use the full range of lighting gear.
- Paid Studios: Places like 'The Perfect Location' or similar pre-wedding studios are ideal for these shoots. They provide private changing rooms, pre-fabricated sets like vintage cars or graffiti walls, and most importantly, they allow us to set up professional lighting without interference.
Logistics and Timing
Because these shoots involve setting up lights and props, they take longer than a standard day shoot. A typical night session runs for 6 to 10 hours. We suggest arriving well before sunset so we can capture the transition from blue hour to total darkness. If you plan to shoot at a paid studio, please remember that the venue rental fee is not included in our package and must be paid by you directly to the studio.
