Denim is a classic, but the way you shoot it changes the whole vibe. See how I turn everyday casual wear into cinematic, edgy portraits.

A classic denim-on-denim look with a moody, artistic twist. We used a simple prop and soft lighting to create a series of expressive, cinematic portraits.

This is our "flipped" denim concept, where we turned the jacket upside down to create a unique off-the-shoulder top. It’s a simple trick that makes the whole look feel different.

A more covered-up but still edgy look from the same series. The way the denim is draped creates interesting shapes and shadows.

A happy, candid moment from our creative denim shoot. It shows that even conceptual shoots can have moments of pure joy.

Another shot of the backless denim look, this time with a bit of motion in the hair. It’s a strong and confident pose that really stands out.

Making raw places look pretty. This reel shows how we used a simple brick wall to create a cool, urban backdrop for a classic denim shorts and tank top look.

A chic and modern way to style a denim dress. Pairing it with a blazer gives it a sophisticated, street-style edge.

The same denim dress, this time without the blazer for a more casual, summery feel. The off-the-shoulder strap adds a touch of effortless style.

A final look from the denim dress series, showing how a simple change in pose can convey a different attitude.

A vibrant, colorful casual look perfect for street style. The denim jacket ties everything together, and the 85mm lens creates that beautiful, blurry background.

About Denim & Casual Style

Denim shoots can easily feel generic if you just stick to standard poses. I focus on creative draping and specific lighting to break the mold, often flipping a jacket into an off-the-shoulder top or pairing textures with raw urban backgrounds. It is about making your casual look feel intentional, moody, and editorial rather than just another outfit post.

I don't believe in just snapping photos of clothes. For these sessions, the goal is to create a visual story that makes the denim pop.

My Approach to Denim Portraits

When we shoot denim, we look at the textures and how they interact with light. I use my Sony 85mm f/1.4 GM lens to create that signature depth of field that separates the subject from the background, making the portrait feel cinematic rather than flat. Whether it is a classic denim-on-denim look or a styled dress, we play with different angles to catch the light and create shadows.

Why Raw Locations Work

I rarely shoot in a plain studio for these sessions. I prefer finding 'ugly' or raw spots—like old brick walls or industrial backdrops in Delhi NCR—to create a stark contrast with the clean look of the fabric. This contrast is what gives the photos that street-style edge.

How We Collaborate

It is a two-way street. During the session, I guide you on posing to capture real movement rather than stiff, forced looks. We keep it fast-paced and experimental. If we need to pin a jacket back or try an unconventional angle to get the perfect shape, we do it. The result is a set of high-end retouched images that look like they belong in a magazine lookbook, not just your camera roll.

I'm Pranshu, and I’m always hunting for that specific vibe where the light hits just right. I don't believe in standard poses; I’d rather drag a chair to a scrapyard if it means getting a killer shot. Let’s collab to make your denim portraits look like something out of a magazine.
