About Wilderness & Nature Shoots
I don’t just shoot in parks. I look for the textures—dried branches, harsh arid patches, or open fields—that match the mood of your outfit. If we’re aiming for a 'Wilderness Outlaw' vibe, I’ll scout a location that feels untamed, not just green, so the clothes become a part of the landscape rather than an afterthought.
Nature provides a canvas that a studio simply cannot replicate. When we shoot outdoors, I am not just looking for a pretty backdrop. I am hunting for the specific light that hits during the Golden Hour to bring out fabric textures and skin tones.
My gear, specifically my Sony A7Riii paired with prime lenses, allows me to separate the subject from the background. This gives you that creamy, professional depth of field even in a wild, unpolished forest or field. Whether it is a flowing dress in a meadow or a rugged denim look against arid, industrial-adjacent land, I build the narrative around the outfit.
We collaborate on the moodboard before the shoot. You might bring the outfits, but I bring the concept, the light-shaping, and the 'gudgudahut' factor—that gut feeling when you see a photo that just works. Based in Delhi and Noida, I often scout the outskirts where we can find expansive, uninterrupted landscapes. We aren't limited to public parks; we will go where the narrative needs us to be. If the story demands a wild, raw, and moody feel, that is exactly where we will be.
