About Football Skill Development
At our JP Nagar turf, we keep our coach-to-student ratio between 1:12 and 1:15. This ensures that whether we are working on agility with coordination mats or specialized diving drills for goalkeepers, every player gets real, immediate feedback during the session.
Our Coaching Philosophy
We believe football is more than just chasing the ball. Our sessions are built around the idea of 'Kicking Excellence,' which to us, means making mistakes is part of the process. If a player fumbles a pass or misses a shot, we don't dwell on it. We say, 'Theek hai, koi baat nahi' (It's okay, no problem), and get right back to the drills.
What We Cover
Our football skill development program is designed for boys and girls aged 6 to teens, catering to everyone from absolute beginners to those looking for competitive edge. We split our training into two main focuses:
- Motor Skills & Agility: We use coordination mats and agility ladders to build speed and running mechanics.
- Technical Drills: Our sessions break the game down into passing triangles, ball control, and shooting practice.
- Match Play: Every session includes time for 5v5 internal matches so players can practice communicating on the field, solving problems, and backing up teammates.
Training Structure
We operate at our floodlit JP Nagar turf, allowing for convenient evening practice sessions.
- Weekend Grassroots Program: Held twice a week (Saturday-Sunday), perfect for younger players (U-10 to U-16) focusing on motor skills and play.
- Competitive Development Program: 3-4 sessions per week for intermediate players and teens (U-12 to U-17), including goalkeeper training, tactical drills, and eligibility for local tournament squads like the Tiger Cup.
