About Dog Behavior Modification & Training
My thing is simple: no dog is ever too far gone. If people call them “broken,” I say, so what? We just put the pieces back together, stronger and shinier than before. I work with dogs that have heavy pasts—shelter rescues, the ones everyone’s given up on. My inspiration comes from kintsugi, you know, fixing cracks with gold. Your dog's story isn’t over yet.
What I Actually Do
- Dog aggression rehabilitation—especially with dogs that snap or are always on edge
- Building trust with rescue dogs is my jam
- Help for anxiety, including those cases where your dog howls the house down when you leave
- Socialization for dogs that bark at everything from autos to aunties
- Basic obedience, but only after trust is there
My Process (It’s Not a Quick Fix)
- Trust comes first, always. I don’t believe in scare tactics or forcing commands.
- I get to know your dog, their quirks, their moods—communication is a two-way street.
- Training starts only when your dog’s ready, not a minute before.
- Consistency, routine, and boundaries are my three favorite words. They’re not punishment—they’re structure.
Proof? Meet Simba
Simba’s a Rottweiler who came with a “danger” label. I worked with him for six months, step by step. Now he’s the gentle giant who helps foster pups settle in. His scars? They’re part of his story.
If you’re looking for someone to just “fix” your dog in a week, that’s not me. But if you’re ready to walk the full mile, I’m here.
Meet your Expert
Poulomi
My Story
Hey, I’m Poulomi. My world spins around my furry board of directors: Zeus, Phoebe, and Scotch. Most folks see troubled dogs, I see souls needing a shot at trust and love. Simba, my Rottie, was called ‘aggressive’—now he’s a nanny to foster pups. This work’s my heartbeat—fostering, worrying over missing cats, and saying tough goodbyes. I’ve been knocked down, but like gold-filled cracks, I rebuild, every time.
My Work
Leash and Cage-Free Dog Boarding - Dogs live and play freely here—no cages, just a real home with my own pack.
Dog Training & Foster Care - Trust-based dog training, foster care, grooming, and medical checkups for every pup.
Trial Dog Stay - Trial stays are a must—helps your dog settle, lowers anxiety, and keeps things chill.
Open Home Dog Socialization - Dogs socialize all day. Works best for playful, outgoing pups, not so much for shy ones.
Routine & Trust - Routine and boundaries build confident, relaxed dogs. That’s our whole jam here.
