The difference between a standard room and a home that feels like yours lies in the textures and details. Explore how we layer materials like rattan, brass, and wood to create spaces that feel warm, grounded, and truly timeless.

I love pairing different materials to create a unique look. This teal blue wardrobe shutter with a rattan insert is finished with delicate brass knobs, a combination that feels both modern and timelessly elegant.

This modern pooja room features green shaker-style shutters with rattan and glass inserts. The brass knobs add a final touch of sophistication, creating a spiritual space that is serene and stylish, not overtly traditional.

This perforated wooden sliding door is a beautiful way to partition a space without blocking light or air. This video shows the process of how this custom feature was designed and installed to separate the kitchen from the dining area.

A step-by-step look at the design process for an earthy, modern puja space. We used natural materials like terracotta tiles and wood, paired with a perforated screen, to create a tranquil and grounded spiritual corner.

This backlit wall may look like expensive onyx, but it's actually an alabaster sheet. This video introduces this lightweight, translucent, and cost-effective material that can add a luxurious glow to feature walls, ceilings, or bar counters.

Wooden elements will never go out of style. This video showcases how we use wood in various forms, from a perforated sliding door to a large mirror frame in a yoga room, to bring timeless warmth and texture to our designs.

A glimpse of our camera roll, filled with material selections. Here, we're pairing different laminates, wood veneers, and patterned tiles to create the perfect palette for an upcoming project.

About this collection

Material selection is where your home develops its personality. Whether we are pairing matte brass knobs with teal rattan cabinetry or using alabaster sheets for a soft, back-lit glow, every choice serves a dual purpose: aesthetic beauty and functional longevity. It is not just about how a surface looks, but how it holds up to your daily routine, from the humidity in a bathroom to the wear-and-tear in a high-traffic entryway.

Building a Sensory Home

Design is more than a floor plan; it is about the tactile experience of your space. My approach to material palettes focuses on grounding, natural elements that bring warmth to modern interiors in Bengaluru. I avoid fleeting trends in favor of materials that age beautifully, like natural wood veneers, stone, and woven fibers.

Where Form Meets Function

Every signature detail I introduce serves a practical purpose:

  • Rattan & Shaker Details: Often used in wardrobes or foyer cabinets, these add visual lightness and texture. Behind the aesthetic, they provide necessary ventilation for stored items, making them an excellent choice for our climate.
  • Modern Lighting Solutions: I frequently replace standard onyx with alabaster sheets for feature walls or backlighting. This gives you that luxurious, soft-glowing atmosphere at a fraction of the cost and weight, without the high-maintenance requirements of natural stone.
  • Architectural Interest: Wall moulding and perforated wood partitions are my go-to methods for defining space without closing it off. They introduce classic architectural elegance that creates a sophisticated backdrop for your furniture.

The Process of Personalization

When we begin our design journey, I bring physical samples to our meetings—tiles, laminates, and veneers. Seeing these materials in your home's natural light changes everything. We test how a fabric upholstery feels against your skin or how a matte finish handles reflection. This is the stage where we move from abstract ideas to a cohesive reality that truly reflects your lifestyle.
