I do not believe in one-size-fits-all training. For adopted Indian Pariah dogs, I run a specialized 'Indie Special' program that prioritizes decompression and confidence-building over rigid obedience, helping your new companion navigate the transition from street life to apartment living with minimal stress.
Training is a dialogue between you and your dog. When I work with a rescue, the first few sessions are rarely about 'sit' or 'stay'. They are about safety, routine, and showing the dog that the environment is secure. Whether it is a deaf puppy learning through hand signals or an older dog struggling with leash reactivity, my methods are rooted in positive reinforcement rather than correction.
