Featured Paper-Cut Art Collection
A selection of my favourite pieces, from intricate architectural landmarks to delicate, hand-cut floral designs.
This is the story of how my art became real life. I started an 'Around the World' paper-cut series during lockdown, creating pieces like this Russian cathedral just for fun. I never imagined I would one day stand right in front of it. It was a true manifestation moment and a reminder that art holds a little bit of magic.
I find cutting these little personalized bookmarks so relaxing between my bigger projects. This video shows the whole process of hand cutting a floral 'S' initial. Every tiny piece is removed by hand with a blade, no machines involved, just a lot of patience.
Here is my finished lotus design, all framed and ready to go. I chose a clear acrylic frame for this one because it gives the paper-cut a beautiful floating effect. The lotus is such a peaceful and symmetrical symbol to work on.
A little glimpse of me and my art. I love the contrast between creating a detailed custom portrait and then a symbolic piece like this winged bird. Each one has its own story and I pour my heart into both.
About Featured
When you pick your piece, keep the display in mind. I use clear acrylic frames for a clean, floating effect on desks, but for wall displays, I highly recommend my double-glass frames—they let the natural light cast beautiful, shifting shadows through the cutouts.
How my art comes together
Every piece you see here starts as a blank sheet of 200 GSM paper. I don't use machines, lasers, or shortcuts. It is just me, a sharp craft knife, and a few hours of quiet focus. This manual process is why each piece feels different—the lines are organic, the edges are soft, and no two pieces are ever identical.
The 'Around the World' series
This cluster features my favourite architectural studies, like the Taj Mahal and international cathedrals. I created this series during the 2020 lockdowns as a way to travel from my desk. The double-glass framing is specific to these pieces; it creates depth, making the paper-cut look like it is suspended in mid-air.
Personalised portraits and bookmarks
Beyond the architecture, I love making custom portraits and bookmarks. If you are looking for a gift, the bookmarks are a personal favourite. They are quick, cute, and feature intricate floral details carved into initials. For portraits, I work directly from your photos to turn a memory into a permanent, paper-cut silhouette.
Care and display
All my work is archival-grade, meaning it won't yellow or degrade easily. Whether you pick a compact acrylic tabletop stand or a larger wall-mounted frame, everything arrives ready to display. Just find a spot with good lighting to really let the negative space and shadows shine.
