This is the perfect example of a personalized painting. The couple asked me to include a dart and their first apartment number, "77A", as hidden symbols of their love story.
Of course, I'll add your fur baby! When the groom's sister asked if I could include their dog, Dodo, in the painting, the answer was an immediate yes.
Getting the details right is my obsession. For this painting, I put extra focus on capturing the couple's faces accurately and recreating the intricate embroidery on the bride's lehenga.
The mandap was made entirely of baby's breath, which is notoriously difficult to paint without it looking like a white blob. I took on the challenge, and I'm so happy with how the delicate texture came out.
The couple was so thrilled that I included the live band in the background of their painting. It's these specific environmental details that help capture the true atmosphere of the day.
