Live Guest Portrait Station for Weddings
Move over standard return gifts. I set up a live art station at your venue, giving your guests a quick, personalized fashion-style portrait they can take home right away.
This video is a quick walkthrough of the whole experience! It shows me painting, the happy reactions, and the final portrait that your guests will treasure. This is the kind of wedding favor that definitely won't be left behind. ❤️
Hi, I'm Noor! Come along with me to a beautiful wedding at Leela Fort. Here you can see my live portrait station in action during the Mehndi, where I created personalized keepsakes for all the guests. What could be better than such a unique and personal gift, right? ✨
About The Live Portrait Experience
I usually set up during Mehndi or Sangeet functions, where guests have time to mingle. Each sketch takes about 6-8 minutes, so even if you have 150+ guests, I bring an assistant to manage the queue and ensure everyone gets their custom piece without the wait. It turns your return gift station into live entertainment that people actually stop to watch.
Think of this as a live art show that doubles as the coolest return gift your guests have ever received. Instead of generic trinkets that get left behind, your friends and family walk away with a hand-painted A6 illustration of themselves from your celebration.
How It Works
I set up a cozy station with my paints and paper. Guests pose for a quick photo, then go back to the party while I sketch their outfit and silhouette. By the time they finish their next drink, their portrait is ready in a protective sleeve. It's a great way to keep the energy high during the long Mehndi hours.
Quality & Logistics
- Style: Fashion-style illustration focusing on outfits and silhouettes rather than realistic portraiture, which keeps the process fast and fun.
- Materials: I use 300 GSM cold press watercolor paper, which is thick, archival quality, and holds ink perfectly. Every illustration comes in a clear protective sleeve.
- Large Gatherings: If you are expecting over 150 guests, I always include a dedicated assistant. This person manages the photography for me, handles the queue, and ensures we stay organized so you and your guests can focus on the party.
Whether you are getting married in Delhi or hosting a destination wedding in Goa, I bring the art supplies to you. These sketches aren't just doodles; they are keepsakes your guests will actually frame.
