Framing Personal Memories and Photographs
Every space tells a story, and the pieces you choose to display define that narrative. We bring the same architectural precision to your personal photographs and keepsakes as we do to museum-grade fine art.
A cherished memory of childhood, framed with timeless simplicity. We used a sleek black metal frame and a crisp white mount to let the joy in this black and white photograph shine through.
About Miscellaneous
When framing a personal photograph or keepsake, we prioritize archival preservation over purely aesthetic choices. We use acid-free materials and UV-protective glazing as standard, ensuring your family memories remain vivid and resistant to yellowing, regardless of whether you choose a minimalist black metal frame or a custom ornate finish.
Beyond the Frame
We understand that your collection of items is rarely uniform. It ranges from black-and-white family photographs that anchor a living room to complex 3D objects like medals, scarves, or childhood memorabilia that require more structural support. Our approach to these 'miscellaneous' items is to find the balance between display and protection.
Archival Standards for Every Item
Whether we are framing a simple print or a cherished heirloom, the core of our work remains the same. We avoid permanent adhesives and standard, cheap glass which can chemically damage your items over time. Instead, we use:
- Museum-Grade Glazing: 99% UV-blocking glass to prevent fading.
- Acid-Free Mounting: Alpha-cellulose boards to prevent the yellowing often seen in store-bought frames.
- Custom Shadow Boxes: For 3D items, we build deep-rebate frames lined with silk or velvet, using non-invasive mounting techniques so the object remains untouched by glue or staples.
A Consultative Process
We don't just sell frames. We sit with you to understand the context of the piece. Is it a modern photograph meant for a gallery wall in your Khar office? Or a vintage sketch that needs to survive another generation? Once we understand the intent, we help you select from our range of 500+ moulding styles to ensure the final piece feels like a cohesive part of your home’s architecture. If you have an item that seems difficult to frame, bring it to our gallery. We enjoy the challenge of finding a solution that respects the item's history while giving it a modern presence.
Painted Rhythm Art Gallery
We are a family of architects and curators who believe that a frame is the final brushstroke on any piece of art. My father started this journey in 1987, and today, we treat every photograph, heirloom, and sketch with that same deep respect for history and emotion.
