About Festival Mainstage Sets
When I’m on a festival mainstage, I’m running a 3-4 deck setup to create live mashups and transitions that you won't hear on a standard playlist. I’m constantly reading the energy of the crowd—if the pit needs more trap, I’m already there before they even ask for it.
A mainstage festival set isn't just about the tracklist; it’s about control. I bring the same intensity I use with DIVINE and Gully Gang to every show, whether I’m at Rolling Loud or Zomaland. My style is rooted in authentic hip-hop, but I pivot fast. If the vibe shifts, I’m switching from trap and afrobeats to Punjabi bangers in seconds.
The Setup
I am a dedicated 'USB DJ.' To ensure the sound quality is crisp and the mixing is seamless, I require a standard industry rider: Pioneer CDJ-2000 NXS2 or CDJ-3000 units with a DJM-900 NXS2 mixer. This setup is non-negotiable because it allows me to perform live mashups and rapid transitions, creating a concert-style experience rather than just hitting play.
Crowd Engagement
I spend as much time on the mic as I do behind the decks. My goal is to make a massive crowd feel like they're in a private room. I’m comfortable managing the energy shifts, whether it's an opening slot to set the tone or closing out the night after a headliner.
