About Traditional & Regional Brides
Getting the drape and jewelry right is half the battle for a traditional look. Whether it is a Nauvari saree, a heavy Kanjeevaram, or a silk lehenga, I focus on pinning techniques that keep everything secure for the entire ceremony without pulling on your skin or hair.
My approach to regional bridal makeup is all about respecting the heritage of your look while ensuring it lasts through all the wedding rituals. I do not use filters. Instead, I rely on high-end, long-wear products like NARS and Huda Beauty to build a base that withstands heat and movement.
For my Maharashtrian brides, I prioritize the authenticity of the Nauvari drape and the precise placement of the nath and crescent bindi. I balance this with a soft, clean makeup finish that highlights your natural features. For South Indian weddings, I focus on the eyes and skin glow that complements the richness of temple jewelry and silk sarees.
Every detail matters when you are dressing for a traditional ceremony. I handle the pinning of heavy jewelry and secure your hair with professional extensions if needed, so you do not have to worry about a loose strand or an uncomfortable drape while you are on the mandap. Whether you want a minimalist touch or a full traditional glam, I adapt my technique to suit the specific requirements of your regional attire and your personal style.
