About Handmade with Love: Our Process
Every bag or accessory starts with a ball of yarn and a whole lot of patience. Whether we are hand-sewing the fabric lining to ensure your keys stay secure or debating which shade of pastel works best for a custom tote, we take our time to get it right. Because these pieces are truly handmade, you might notice small variations—that is the mark of something crafted by human hands, not a factory machine.
How We Make It
Our process is simple: it starts with a request and ends with a finished piece that feels like home. Since we are a small team, we don't have massive stocks. Instead, we craft each item to order using high-quality cotton or milk cotton blends. This yarn choice matters because it’s soft, durable, and holds its shape without pilling too much over time.
The Customization Process
- Color Choices: You aren't stuck with what you see. If you want a specific color palette to match your outfit or mood, just let us know. We love experimenting with new combinations.
- Size & Details: Need a larger tote for your laptop or a smaller pouch for your AirPods? We can adjust dimensions. We also add little touches like tassels, crochet flowers, or fabric linings with internal pockets upon request.
Why Hand-Crocheted Takes Time
We know the 'fast fashion' world moves quickly, but our work is slow on purpose. It takes hours to crochet a single bag, and that doesn't include the time we spend sourcing lining fabric, attaching zippers, or adding those finishing charms. When you order from us, you’re not just buying a bag; you’re supporting a process that involves actual human hands, lots of chai, and a few breaks to keep the creative energy high. If you are ordering for a specific date, reach out a bit early so we have the time to pour our love into it without rushing.
