About Roka & Engagement Glow
For Roka and engagement events, I focus on a breathable base that looks perfect in both natural daylight and under camera flashes. I skip the heavy, cakey layers, preferring to highlight your features with soft, radiant tones so you feel like the most beautiful version of yourself while posing for those early-ceremony shots.
When you are preparing for your Roka or engagement, the goal is to look like yourself—just a bit more polished and glowing. Many brides worry about their makeup looking too heavy or out of place for a daytime function, which is exactly why my 'Festive Day Look' is all about subtlety and freshness.
My approach uses lightweight, breathable foundations that won't oxidize under the sun or harsh lights. I focus on a palette of corals, soft pinks, and peaches that bring out your natural flush. We skip the heavy contouring and instead focus on soft dimension, often pairing this with wispy false lashes that open up your eyes without looking dramatic.
Hairstyling is just as important for these smaller, intimate events. Whether you want a relaxed, messy braid with floral accents for a backyard function or soft, voluminous waves to complement a saree for an engagement party, I work with your hair type to ensure the style holds up from the first welcome drink to the last photo. I also take care of the basic draping for shararas or lehengas, ensuring everything is pinned securely so you can move and celebrate freely.
