It is always the small touches—the delicate piping, the right placement of buttons, or a hint of lace—that transform a simple outfit into something you love wearing.

A showcase of various custom neckline designs. From potli buttons and geometric patterns to intricate piping, the neckline is a great place to add a personal touch.

I love combining fabrics and laces to create a unique look. Here, a floral print is accented with delicate white and purple lace for a custom suit design.

The dramatic tiered bell sleeves on this floral Anarkali are made from lightweight organza, creating beautiful movement and a touch of romance.

The unique back of this green Anarkali features triangular tassels with delicate pearl edging, showing how even the back of a dress can be a statement.

A simple printed suit is elevated with contrasting turquoise piping and matching potli buttons on the neckline.

This green kurta features a beautiful V-neckline adorned with flower-shaped lace and a side tie-up with tassels.

About The Art of Detail

When we plan your design details, I always check the weight of the fabric first. Too much lace on a lightweight cotton can make it drag, while heavy embroidery needs structured backing to sit flat against your neck. We test these combinations during the initial consultation so your final piece does not just look pretty, but stays comfortable through the day.

Beyond the Basics

Many of my clients come to me with a basic idea, but the real fun starts when we add the finishing touches. A neckline is not just about the cut; it is about how it sits on your collarbone. Whether we use piping to define a V-neck or add potli buttons for that classic ethnic touch, the goal is to make the fabric behave exactly the way you want.

Why Structure Matters

I am quite fussy about how these details are applied. If you want a heavy border or intricate lace work, we use high-quality canvas backing. This ensures that the neckline keeps its shape and does not sag after a few washes. It is the difference between a shirt that looks 'store-bought' and one that feels tailored for your body.

Custom Touches We Can Add:

  • Necklines: From simple square cuts to deep backs with dori tie-ups and handmade tassels.
  • Sleeves: Adding bell or puff details to give your outfit some movement.
  • Embellishments: Using mirrors, sequins, or scalloped borders to highlight specific parts of your suit or dress.
  • Functional Detail: Potli buttons can serve as real closures or just as a decorative element down the front.

Because I handle the stitching right here in my Sector 35, Noida workshop, we have the flexibility to make these adjustments during your trial fitting. If a sleeve length feels off or a detail looks different in person than it did on your Pinterest board, we fix it before the final stitch. Kapde pehno toh dil se pehno—wear it with heart, and let us handle the craft.
