Our Approach to Biophilic Design

We don't believe in 'plonking' plants into a space. A failed green wall is a common issue in Bangalore's urban environment, usually caused by improper site assessment or neglected irrigation systems. Our process removes that risk.

1. Site Analysis and Feasibility Every project begins with understanding your space. We evaluate light, humidity, and airflow to determine whether a living wall with real plants or a preserved moss installation is the right fit. If your area lacks natural light or plumbing access, we pivot to low-maintenance moss solutions rather than forcing a living system that will struggle.

2. System Engineering For living walls, we design automated hydroponic systems that handle watering and nutrient delivery. This ensures plants remain healthy without you needing a dedicated gardener. For moss walls, we focus on material density and acoustic performance, utilizing high-grade reindeer lichen treated with non-toxic glycerin to maintain texture and colour over years.

3. Fabrication and Precision Installation We handle our fabrication off-site to keep your space clean and minimize downtime. Our custom projects, particularly those involving branding or complex geometries, undergo a 30 to 45 day fabrication period where we cut backing boards and refine plant placement. When we arrive on-site for installation, the process is usually a 1 to 3 day plug-and-play assembly.

4. Long-Term Maintenance We do not install and disappear. For living systems, we offer support to ensure the greenery thrives. For our preserved moss installations, the maintenance requirement is effectively zero, providing a lasting green aesthetic that continues to provide sound absorption and visual relief long after the project is complete.
