My Microblading Process: Step-by-Step
Permanent makeup can feel intimidating, but it doesn't have to be. I am sharing my exact technique so you know exactly what to expect when I visit your home.
Here is a little glimpse into the microblading process for a client. I start by carefully mapping and drawing the perfect brow shape. You can see how I apply the pigment to create fine, hair-like strokes, and importantly, there is no swelling. The final result is a happy client with beautifully defined, natural brows.
This is a close-up look at my microblading and microshading technique. I use precise tools to create delicate strokes that mimic natural hair, giving your brows a soft, powdered finish. The entire process is done with complete hygiene and care at your home in Gurgaon or South Delhi.
About My Microblading Process: Step-by-Step
Before we pick up the tool, we spend a good amount of time on mapping—drawing the shape until you are 100% happy with how it frames your face. I know the biggest fear is the 'blocky' look, so I use a manual technique that mimics real hair strokes for that soft, natural finish. There is usually no swelling or downtime involved, so you can literally get back to your day right after I pack up.
Many people ask me, "Bhavna, will it look artificial?" I get it, because once it's on your face, it's there for a while. My process is designed to erase that worry.
The Step-by-Step Breakdown
- Mapping: This is the most important part. I use calipers to measure your facial features and draw a shape that fits your bone structure, not just a trend. We don't start until you approve the shape in the mirror.
- Numbing: Comfort is non-negotiable. I use medical-grade topical anesthetic, letting it sit for 20 to 30 minutes so you feel minimal sensation.
- The Strokes: Using sterile, single-use needles opened in front of you, I create fine, hair-like strokes. For clients with oily skin, I often recommend a combination with shading for better retention.
- Aftercare: I leave you with a healing kit and clear instructions. You just need to keep the area clean and hydrated with the ointment I provide.
