About this collection
Before you order, please don't guess your nail size! I personally walk you through the exact measuring process so your custom set fits like a glove. Whether you are doing a DIY application at home or getting soft gel extensions, getting that foundation right is the difference between a 3-day hold and a 3-week hold. When you get the sizing right, you can reuse your press-ons 3 to 5 times without them popping off.
Mastering Your Press-On Application
Getting a salon-quality finish at home is all about the prep. When you receive your kit, you have everything you need: a mini file, buffer, alcohol prep pads, and your choice of liquid glue or adhesive tabs.
- Prep the canvas: Use the buffer to gently remove the shine from your natural nail plate. This creates a rougher surface for the glue to grip onto.
- Clean it up: Don't skip the alcohol wipe! It removes oils that cause early lifting. If you skip this, no glue in the world will save your set.
- Application: Apply the liquid glue to both your natural nail and the back of the press-on for a 2-3 week hold. If you’re just wearing them for a party or a quick date night, stick to the adhesive tabs for a 1-2 day wear that won't damage your natural nails.
The 'Sabra' (Patience) Rule
People often ask how I have the patience for tiny, intricate details on my hand-painted portraits. My answer is always the same: Tu sabra toh kar mere yaar (Have some patience, friend).
Whether you are applying a delicate set of hand-painted floral nails or a heavy bridal set with stone encrusting, take your time. If you’re wearing one of my advanced sets, I’ve already reinforced it with builder gel (BIAB) so it feels as sturdy as a hard gel extension. Treat them with love—don't use your nails as tools to open cans or peel stickers! Keep your hands dry for a couple of hours after application to let the glue fully set.
