About Hand-Painted Portraits: My Specialty
Creating a micro-portrait is intense work—sometimes taking me over five hours just for one nail. Because these are hand-painted using 000-size brushes, I treat each set as a miniature canvas. When you book a portrait set, we’ll spend time finalizing the details, whether it’s a specific deity, a pet, or a movie character, ensuring the expression is just right before I even open my gel palette.
If you want nails that tell a story, this is it. Portraits are my jam, and they require a completely different approach compared to standard gel sets. Because I work with 000-size brushes, every stroke needs to be precise. Whether you want a divine depiction of Radha Krishna for Janmashtami, a portrait of Maa Durga for Navratri, or even a fun pop-culture set like Guardians of the Galaxy, I approach each nail like a painting.
The process starts with your vision. You share the photo, and I analyze the details to see how they will scale down to a nail-sized canvas. For bridal sets, I often add reinforced layers of builder gel (BIAB) to ensure these intricate designs have the durability of hard-gel extensions while remaining wearable.
