My Story
Hi, I’m Narayanan. Didn’t start off as a lawyer - science grad, tried UPSC, life did its own thing. Landed at Campus Law Centre, Delhi. Nights, I was a journalist at Patriot, days were courts where even getting a seat at Tis Hazari felt like a win. Floods hit my home in Kerala, then my office in Delhi - water everywhere, books lost. So when I see people struggling, sannu lagya yaar, sannu kuch karna hai (I feel it, we have to do something). That’s what keeps me going.
My Work
Criminal Law at Delhi High Court - I’ve been practicing over 30 years as a Senior Advocate, mostly handling tough, sometimes messy cases. No drama, just work.
Pro bono work is non-negotiable - Of every six cases, two or three are pro bono. Har gareeb aadmi ke liye khada hona vakeel ka farz banta hai (It’s a lawyer’s duty to stand for every poor person).
No hierarchy in my chambers - I don’t do junior-senior drama. You want to talk, my door’s open. We’re all learning, every single day.
Fearless, but with dignity - Sometimes you have to take a tough stand in court. Don’t shy away, but always keep your head.
