Dance collaborations and fun moments with Muruga Master
For me, dance is all about connection. Whether it’s grooving with stars or just vibing with my students, these moments define what I do.
Another fun dance reel with Kili Paul. His energy is infectious, and we had a great time just vibing to the music together.
The cast of the movie 'Kotee' doing the hook step challenge for the song 'Sakhiye Sakhiye'. It's always fun to see the whole team get into the groove during promotions.
A snippet from my interview with Kannada Mojo360, where I talk about my journey and how I first met my wife, Ishitha.
In this interview clip, I share my experience on the reality show 'Raja Rani'. That show was a turning point for me, giving me a new level of recognition.
I was honored to be invited as a guest for the 'Kala Vaibhava 2024' cultural event. I'm always happy to support platforms that promote young talent.
About this collection
People often ask me why I enjoy filming reels or doing interviews alongside my studio work. It’s simple: dance isn't just steps, it’s a language. When I’m on set or recording with friends, or even just chatting on a podcast about my journey, that same energy flows right back into the classroom. It reminds me why I started this studio in the first place—to keep things real and fun, not just rigid.
A lot of students come to Thandavika Dance Studio because they’ve seen my work on social media or reality shows like Raja Rani. They often ask, 'Muruga master, do you only teach celebrities?' The answer is always a big no. For me, the energy I share on set with actors and influencers is exactly the same energy I bring to the studio floor in Vijayanagar and RR Nagar.
When we film a hook step challenge for a movie like Kotee, it’s about the rush and the team spirit. When I teach that same step to a batch of beginners, the goal is to make them feel that same confidence. Whether it’s a quick reel or a structured choreography course, the objective stays the same: building a community where everyone feels comfortable enough to trip up, laugh, and keep moving.
If you’ve seen my work online and want to experience that vibe firsthand, my doors are open. We don't do formal, stiff environments here. We do music, movement, and a lot of happy chaos. Come by for a trial session, and you’ll see that the choreography you see on screen is much closer to your reach than you think.
Murugananda Muruga
I’m Muruga, and I live for dance and bike rides. Whether I’m on a TV set or just jamming in the studio, I’m always looking for that next fun beat to move to. I believe anyone can dance if they just let go and have a little bit of fun with it.
