To start a custom piece, just send me a clear reference photo or a specific vibe you have in mind. I work with you to choose the best medium—be it pencil, color, or canvas—and provide a digital scan for your approval before I finish and ship the final artwork.
I create work for people who value a personal touch. My studio in Arekere, Bengaluru, is where I focus on two main styles: classic black-and-white sketches and high-impact acrylic paintings.
Charcoal and Color Pencil Portraits
For portraits, I use heavy 200-300 GSM fine-grain paper. I use graphite for lighter tones and charcoal for deep blacks, employing cross-hatching to get skin texture just right. If you prefer color, I use professional oil-based pencils on Bristol vellum, finishing with a UV-resistant varnish to stop the colors from yellowing over time. Whether it is a family member or a favorite movie character, I aim to capture the real expression in every drawing.
Large-Scale Acrylics
If you want a centerpiece for a room, I paint on cotton canvas using professional acrylics. These can range from mythological themes to wildlife portraits. I apply a glossy varnish at the end to seal the paint and make the colors pop. For local clients, I offer gallery-wrapped canvases ready to hang. For out-of-station orders, I ship the canvas safely in a PVC tube to ensure it reaches you without damage.
Cultural Inspiration
Growing up in Tulunad, my roots are a huge part of my work. You will often see me painting Yakshagana performers or mythological figures. These pieces are more than just images; they are a celebration of my culture, and I love taking on commissions that help others bring that same feeling of home into their own spaces.
