About Music & Dance Video Choreography
Dancing for a camera lens is entirely different from performing for a live audience. I design every movement specifically for your frame, focusing on how camera angles, depth, and spacing capture your energy on screen rather than just filling a stage.
When we work on music video or dance reel projects, we do not just teach steps. We think about how the camera sees the movement.
Our Creative Process
We start with pre-production planning, working closely with your director or stylist to ensure the dance style fits the mood of the track. If you need a viral hook step for social media, we prioritize moves that are catchy, repetitive, and optimized for short-form content. For narrative music videos, we focus on contemporary or hip-hop elements that tell a story through body language.
The Logistics
Every video package includes 4 to 5 intensive studio rehearsals where we drill posture, facial expressions, and timing. Once we get to the shoot day, I am there for the full 10 to 12 hours of supervision. I monitor every take to ensure the choreography translates perfectly through the lens, identifying the best angles and helping the director with shot selection. Whether you are an artist filming a single or a content creator looking for a fresh dance video, we ensure the final output feels professional, polished, and authentic to your style.
