When I left my five-year career in the IT industry to start Mom Made Home, I realized that home organization is really just system design for real life. Unlike standard cleaning services, I analyze your daily routines first. We identify exactly where your system breaks down—whether it is a kitchen that feels impossible to navigate or a wardrobe that is hard to maintain—and build a storage setup that you can keep clean with minimal effort.
Organization is often misunderstood as making things look picture-perfect. My philosophy is the exact opposite. If you have to spend two hours a day maintaining a system, it is not a working system. I focus on creating sustainable setups using the items you already own, which saves you money and the stress of managing new storage clutter.
My Approach
- The Mental Load: I understand that a cluttered home is often a symptom of feeling overwhelmed. We start by decluttering, then we categorize, and finally, we assign a permanent home for every item.
- Process-Driven: My background in software development influences how I organize. I treat your home like a system that needs efficient workflows. For example, in the kitchen, we group items by activity, not just by type, ensuring your 'coffee station' or 'prep area' is optimized for your morning routine.
- Sustainability: I do not believe in buying expensive bins that you do not need. We reuse existing delivery boxes and containers to build drawer dividers and storage solutions. My goal is for you to be able to find everything you need in under five seconds, every single time.
