But here is the reality check: if your event planner skips the soundcheck, the mix loses its punch. I insist on that hour of prep to make sure the beat hits exactly how it should.
My 'Bolytech' fusion is not just playing drums over a track. It is a live performance where I, the DJ, and the audience are one. When I share the stage with icons like Mika Singh, Sreeram, or Nushrratt Bharuccha, the pressure is real, but that is where the magic happens. I use my Roland Handsonic and LED Wambooka to layer techno or house beats over Bollywood hits, making sure the energy stays at 100.
Whether it is a massive concert or an intimate corporate gala, the approach stays the same. I don't just stay behind the console. If the vibe allows, I am out on the dance floor with my gear. You might think an hour of soundcheck is too much, but for my LED setups and the specific acoustics of fusion music, it is non-negotiable. If you want the crowd jumping from the first beat till 3 AM, we need that sync. Let's make it happen.
