About Textured Wall Finishes
Applying textures like basket weaves or faux brick is not just about the final coat. We start with a mandatory two-coat wall putty application, which is critical for leveling the surface. Without this foundation, the high-viscosity paints used for 3D effects do not adhere or pattern correctly. We use professional-grade Asian Paints and Berger finishes, ensuring your wall stays durable while maintaining its intended tactile depth.
Understanding Texture Options
When choosing a texture, it helps to match the style to your space and light. We typically work with three primary categories of finishes:
- Metallic and Tactile Effects: These use specialized combs, rollers, and thick-viscosity paint to create patterns like criss-crosses or swirls. These are excellent for living room accent walls where light hits the surface, revealing the depth of the finish.
