About Traditional Hair Oils
The real secret to seeing results with my oils isn't just the ingredients; it's how you apply them. Use the root comb applicator I include with the oils to reach your scalp directly, as this boosts circulation much better than rubbing it in with your palms. Since these are fresh, small-batch infusions, they stay potent longer if you keep them away from direct sunlight and moisture.
How My Traditional Infusions Work
I believe in the old ways. My oils are created using the traditional 'Thailam' method, where base oils are slow-boiled with fresh herbs like curry leaves, amla, and hibiscus. This isn't just mixing ingredients; it's a patient process of extraction that pulls the nutrients into the oil, making them actually work for your hair.
Choosing Your Blend
- For Hair Fall & Growth: My growth oil is a blend of hibiscus, amla, and castor oil. It is designed to stimulate the scalp and strengthen roots. If you are dealing with significant thinning, consistent scalp massage with this blend is key.
- For Premature Greying: My anti-greying blend relies on the darkening properties of curry leaves and henna. It won't act like a chemical dye, but with regular use, it helps nourish the follicles to maintain your natural colour for longer.
- For Texture & Shine: My carrot oil is a multi-purpose favourite. It's fantastic if you struggle with split ends or frizz, as it restores moisture and leaves hair feeling soft without that sticky residue.
Freshness Matters
Because I make everything in small batches in my own kitchen, there are no harsh preservatives or synthetic stabilisers. This means your product is as fresh as possible, but it also means it is sensitive to the environment. Keep your bottle tightly capped and store it in a cool, dry place. If you have specific concerns like postpartum hair loss or damage from chemical treatments, feel free to reach out so we can discuss the right routine for you.
